Welcome to the Gorean Roleplay site.  This site is provided free of charge courtesy of Jeran Tal and Sin Schnyder (Second Life character names).  We want this site to support gorean roleplay by giving users a place to extend their experience by connecting with other Goreans.  Our current focus is to extend the experience of those Goreans that roleplay in Second Life (SL) but there is no constraint in allowing this site to extend beyond SL

This site allows users a richer roleplay experience by providing supplemental material and features to roleplayers including:

• A place to better read, contribute and share information about Gor.  We invite users interested in sharing or contributing to the site contact us either here or in world in Second Life.  This web site is built on a technology that allows content contributions from multiple authors without knowledge of html or web programming.
• A series of forums to discuss issues with fellow Goreans, those in your homestone, caste or others that form a group.  A few discussion groups are already in place and more can be easily added as deemed appropriate by the site owners.  If you have a SIM or group you would like to add feel free to contact us.

• Social Networking for Goreans!  This site includes several features to allow a richer experience in interacting and learning about your fellow Goreans.  These features include:

  • An extended user profile.  Put whatever you like in there to share
  • Ability to make your profile public to all site users or private so that only those you add as friends may see your profile
  • Share pictures in your space
  • Create a blog in your space
  • Add and Share Media (music and videos) to your space
  • Add comments to your space
  • Make your space readable by RSS so other users can subscribe to it and be notified when you post changes
  • Messages! That's right you can send messages to other users through the web site without sharing your email address.  All subscribing users can send messages to users through the web site and you can view them in your Message Center
• Homepages for Homestones - Any SIM/homestone that wants a personal page that they can maintain simply needs to contact us.  Once created you will be able to manage the content on your own page.
• Coming Soon ... Calendar of Events - A future feature we would like to add is a calendar of events where SIM owners can post events and they can be viewed in an interactive calendar.  We will wait for widespread site adoption and content contribution before adding this feature but the capability already exists.

We hope that you will all enjoy the site and we could use your help in building at the Gor Information section.  There is so much great information out there but it is disparate, incomplete and there is a missing structure and single place to host it.  Come on scribes, here's your chance to band together and create a highly usable library of Gorean information.  And oh did we mention, if you add content here it will be automatically indexed in our search engine!?
